A note from the founder

Hi — I'm Tyler. Pupnik is a one-person operation, built in months while my own dog kept walking circles in the kitchen. I built it because counting steps is boring and my dog deserves better. Three commitments: your real GPS never leaves our server, the leaderboards can't be spoofed (we validate human-pace motion), and you can delete everything in one tap from inside the app. Questions? tyler@pupnik.app — I read every email.

Questions, answered.

How much does it cost?
Free to walk. Pupnik+ is $12.99/month or $49.99/year, and the annual plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Monthly has no trial. Pupnik+ unlocks Streak Saves, richer memories, Pack depth, and premium share cards.
When is Android coming?
iOS first. Android is on the roadmap once Pupnik+ on iOS is sustainable. Drop your email and I'll let you know the day it ships.
How does the privacy thing actually work?
Your real coordinates never leave our servers. Other users only ever see a blurred area — home location is always offset by ±500m before being shared. One toggle in settings hides you from the leaderboard entirely.
Can someone fake walks for XP?
No. Walks must show a realistic human-pace motion profile to earn XP. Sitting on the couch with a GPS spoofer doesn't work — the server rejects the walk.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. iPhone in your pocket is enough. We use Core Location with motion validation, so the phone's sensors are all we need.
How do I get my data out, or delete it?
A delete-account button in Settings wipes everything in one tap. CSV export of your walks is available on request — email tyler@pupnik.app.
